How the calculation works
Unlike a destiny number, which comes from letters, a life path number comes purely from digits.
Every digit in your birth date is added together. That total is then reduced by adding its own digits, repeatedly, until a single digit remains, unless the reduction passes through 11, 22, or 33 first, which are treated as “master numbers” and left unreduced.

Why did I get an 11, 22, or 33 instead of a single digit?

Does time of birth affect the life path number?
